I’m so excited you are here! I’m Mary Zimmer and I am the founder of A Great Impression. I am a faith girl. God’s word is what inspires me more than anything. I am passionate about Jesus, being a grandma, and keeping women working from their homes. Besides my morning cup (pot) of coffee and my husband, some of my favorite things on earth are my family, my dogs, and creating anything pretty. I was raised with a joy of sharing. Being one of eight kids, I had a lot of practice. So sharing the joy of design with you is truly a gift to me each day. I have been a maker all of my life and was blessed to stay home raising three kids, while running my business. My kids were taught respect for the vacuum cleaner. It seemed I often had a customer on the way over, and I needed my kids’ help. The saying “Love what you do and never work a day in your life,” is the best way to describe the joy in my smile.
Hey Y’all! I’m Mandy Zimmer, and I am the head of production at A Great Impression. I am a believer in Jesus Christ and have known him all of my life. I am a proud Army Wife to a helicopter pilot, and the mom to the sweetest baby boy ever, named Colton. Many people confuse me as Mary’s daughter, but I’m actually married to her son. I’m a Tennessee girl currently living in Texas. When I am not in my upstairs office making wall decals and running production at AGI, I’m in my home gym training clients for healthier living choices. I am passionate about staying fit and making investments into our bodies, not just our bank accounts. I love working for AGI and have become quite efficient these days. The mailman knows our dog and I very well, and I give each order a quick prayer as it heads out the door to your home.
Hi Everyone! I am Julie Zimmer. I am one of the only college students I know who is lucky enough to have a work from home job. My college apartment actually has enough room for my supplies. So home is where I work when I am not studying in a coffee shop or in class. I grew up in a home where helping my Mom fill orders was our normal routine. She taught us hard work paid off, and that being your own boss was something to be proud of. I am a math major, and look forward to teaching high school in just a couple years.
Hi Everyone. I’m Pamela. While I am actually the head of production at A Great Baby, I am very much a team member at AGI. As Mary’s best friend for the past couple of decades, I remember hosting Mary’s very first A Great Impression party to launch the idea, over eight years ago in Michigan. The true essence of who I am is centered on my faith and love for Jesus. Being married for over twenty- six years to my teenage sweetheart has been more than a blessing! We have four beautiful children—three who walk this earth with us and one who lives in Heaven. Our youngest daughter (14) passed away in January of 2015. I am a seamstress and designer. My days are spent making blankets for A Great Baby and running my other sewing business. I love to write on a blog called Hope Daisy. I created it to help encourage other parents with the loss of a child, and to express my faith on the most difficult road a parent can ever walk. (www.hopedaisy.com)
Hey! I’m Lisa Bewley and I run custom orders for A Great Impression. It’s so nice to meet you! I’m the wife of a pastor named Marc, the mom to three grown sons, and the Grandmommy of two precious little girls. I have been blessed with the gift of creativity all of my life. You name it; I have my hands in it! I love to sing, design, take pictures, play the piano, and paint furniture. After the age of forty, I went to art school. I spent almost ten years as a full time missionary in Bogota Colombia. A bit of a gypsy heart, I have collected people all over the world. I’m an amazing hugger, and I make new friends wherever I go. I have been designing many of the new designs that we are selling in the shop at A Great Impression. I have also been helping with photos and setting up new systems. I can’t wait to custom create the beautiful wall decal you are envisioning!
Hi, I’m Meg Bauer. I am Mary’s assistant and the only “in state” member of the team. I work with Mary on daily tasks. From listing products on websites to email marketing or blogging, I am behind the scenes, working from my own home. Mary and I meet for weekly meetings to share ideas and tasks. I am the wife to Brad and the mom to Emma and Avery. My degree is in teaching, and I use that each morning while I teach my own children preschool at home. My faith is in Jesus and I am blessed to say that it has been all of my life. I love to decorate, craft, and create, so working on this awesome team is a joy to me. Coffee makes me a very happy and productive person, and is my favorite way to spend my couple of hours each afternoon working for A Great Impression while my littles rest.
